The role strategically leads the Sub-Contracting category creates value for ISS by selecting the driving the right supply base strategies in combination with managing the right supply base, the category consists of technical services, parts and equipment, standard subcontracting and currently also food & beverages, the responsibilities are split per area (combination below): Technical Services, Parts & Equipment

Your new role
The role strategically leads the Sub-Contracting category creates value for ISS by selecting the driving the right supply base strategies in combination with managing the right supply base, the category consists of technical services, parts and equipment, standard subcontracting and currently also food & beverages, the responsibilities are split per area (combination below): Technical Services, Parts & Equipment
- Define category strategies, together with Head of Group Technical Services
- Negotiate remaining supplier agreements with group potential across soft services and technical services. Explore possibility for true global and regional partnerships
- Co-define fact-based insourcing vs. outsourcing decision framework, together with Head of Group Tech. Services
- Define solid transition framework for technical services
- Strategic management of global and regional supplier relations (incl. BRM cycle)
- Develop subcontractor performance management framework for both global- and local suppliers
- Facilitate innovation forum
- Define category strategies and understand which subcategories should be group managed
- Manage the existing supply base in the areas of PEST control
- Fill contractual whitespace by creating meaningful agreements in the areas of security (Securitas) and waste management
- Manage the relationships with all above suppliers, drive performance and spend compliance
- Build practice and innovation communities across country colleagues and supply base
- Co-define supply & service strategies and approached with Head of Food & Beverages (Service Products & Performance)
- Manage relationships with hot beverage suppliers and Unilever Food solutions
- Expand supply base and drive compliance in focus areas aligned with Head of Food & Beverages
What you'll need to succeed
- You have 4-8 years of experience from related function, ideally acquired at larger international and multicultural organizations in companies featuring matrix organizations
- You bring well-developed end-to-end skills ranging from analysis to implementation and savings realization with a proven track record of strong performance
- You are execution-oriented with the ability to prioritize and focus on key tasks while adding structure to a changing and dynamic environment
- You have a well-balanced personality and possess good interpersonal skills which enables you to build relationships with, network with and influence appropriate people at all levels, both internally and externally, in order to achieve desired outcomes
- You communicate diplomatically and persuasively with objective lines of argument/rationales for action and present viewpoints assertively and professionally with an ability to manage both downwards, horizontally and upwards
