Head of ITID

Location: Cracow

 

Head of IT Infrastructure Delivery Poland Team manages Service Management, Identity and Access Management, Data Center Automation, Client Services and PM/PMO functions.

The jobholder has proven experience having worked in large IT companies and leading multi-location and multi Technology & Functional teams. Jobholder would lead a team of 30 – 100 IT professionals, well versed with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Agile, proven experience with Quality&Service Management, Architecture and Automation Process in execution of multiple projects and programs.

Jobholder would have to manage and deliver global flagship projects. He/She is required to lead the change initiative, take strategic decisions, operate at an executive level and manage stakeholder and sponsor relationships. Global project governance must be established, including clear sponsorship, tollgates and steering committee. The jobholder will not be subject to close supervision, and will be expected to exercise independent initiative in proactively overcoming obstacles to success, dealing with uncertainty and changing circumstances, such as interdependencies, opportunities or risks. He / She will be expected to adopt an agile and flexible approach to work and an outstanding level of professionalism and conduct.

 

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute on the Global l strategy and vision

Ensure effective and appropriate resource on the project team and forming an effective project team, with the right blend of skills

Influences and collaborates with stakeholder and delivery partners to drive the right project outcomes. Take active part at discussions regarding project prioritization and create buy-in for risk mitigation and contingency plans

Manage costs, ensuring that all planned projects are delivered on time, within the budget and resource allocated

Drive innovation and introduce new techniques, products, services, technologies and standards where needed

Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process with regards to development of a comprehensive portfolio for the region and achieve it's delivery

Drive collaboration and close cooperation with Global IT teams and ensure shared experience and knowledge

Drive transparency in terms of BAU/production support and Projects delivery for the stakeholders and Business

Build and maintain strong relationship and interact with the business partners and customers/stakeholders, help understanding technological choices and processes

To build, lead, motivate and manage a team engineers / business analysts / IT project managers and production support & SM, establishing strong work ethics and open channels of communication.

Drive a performance management based culture to improve and drive efficiencies and performance including the effective management of underperformers

Acts as a role model to create and maintain a collaborative team environment which supports and encourages the professionalization and development of teams

Maintain a strong focus on people development and ensure project resources receive any necessary training and support, particularly on the technology edge solutions and methodology

Leadership over all regulatory and compliance matters and the management of operational risk

Optimize resource utilization

Requirements:

Excellent understanding of technology, architecture, project management methodologies, best practices and techniques.

Experience in Quality and Service Management (Change Management, Problem and Incident Management, Configuration management,…)

Experience in Data Center Automation and Identity&Access Management areas

Strong capability to manage IT Teams with large scale (up to 100 team members with 10 direct reports)

Have comprehensive IT knowledge of banking activities and have had previous experience in project control.

A variety of activities have to be planned and controlled by the job holder who should be capable of coordinating resources to achieve optimum end results.

Strong understanding of banking / our Client and understanding of how change drives benefits for our Client, its customers and other stakeholders

Exhibit an ability to act independently using his/her own knowledge, without undue reference to higher authority.

Maintain cordial relations with a variety of departments from IT to various user departments to external parties, and possess a high level of inter-personal skills in dealings with other Executives.

Global and/or multi-business experience in a business and IT development domain

Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of organizational planning, resource mobilization and problem solving.

Ability to work effectively under pressure with competing and rapidly changing priorities
