Group Quality Manager (M/F)
For our client, an international company currently expanding its operations globally we are looking for an experienced Group Quality manager, preferably with previous experience in metal industry.

Description
- Harmonizes quality systems within the group.
- Establishes harmonized processes, quality manuals, procedures, standards and corresponding records.
- Manages with all quality teams across the group the implementation of optimized and harmonized standards and procedures to support.
- Product harmonization with standardization of processes, specs, acceptance criteria.
- Integration of the functions (production, engineering, project management) with standardization of quality systems and procedures.
- Manages and oversees project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specific specifications, and Quality requirements.
- Leads technical clarification with clients on complex projects all along execution (from sales and design to final documentation delivery).
- Brings proven expertise and convincing abilities to fix technical issues with client.
- Continuously performs audits of internal sites and sub-contractors, assess performance; compile corrective action plans and follow-up.
- Trains and develops quality teams.
- Drives improvement, optimization and standardization.
Profile
A perfect candidate will have competences to harmonize and optimize quality processes, procedures and system to allow smooth projects execution across sites.
- 10+ years working experience and knowledge within the pressure vessel industry, although a structural steel background will be an added benefit.
- Advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal departments, suppliers, subcontractors, regulatory authorities and clients.
- Strong coordination and organization skills, including in remote configuration.
- Must have experience in performing quality inspection of pressure vessels.
- Knowledge of ASME construction code, with focus on metallurgy and welding.
- Knowledge of material and welding inspection and related examination methods (MT, PT, UT, and RT especially)
- Advanced knowledge of project specific documentation
- Ability to develop Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle and risk-based thinking, manage non-conformance, and reporting programs, including root cause analysis.
