The chosen person will be responsible for managing the ground operations team and for all ground operations related duties.
Client Details
For our client, one of air operators, we are currently looking for an experienced Ground Operations Manager - (Nominated Person).
Description
- Ensure that ground operations are carried out in accordance with the restrictions of the issued AOC.
- Establish and maintain operational policies, Ground Operations Manual, processes, procedures and other guidance or information necessary for ground handling personnel to perform their duties and be in compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, rules and company standards.
- Ensure the existence and administration of contracts with external service providers.
- Liaise with the respective authorities, represent the company in authorities audits, prepare and implement required corrective actions.
- Ensure the existence of necessary facilities, equipment and supporting services to satisfy safety and security of ground operations.
- Prepare and execute the ground operations budget.
- Assure timely flights performance in accordance with the approved flight schedule, inform suppliers about changes.
Profile
- University degree
- Fluent Polish and very good English
- At least 5 years of experience in aviation business within ground operations area
- Thorough knowledge of ground operations, IATA and EASA regulations
- DGR Cat. 6 certificate
- Knowledge of De-icing/Anti-icing procedures
- Familiar with aviation management system
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strategic, analytical way of thinking
- Good negotiation and organization skills
- Meticulousness and detail-orientation
