Your new role
The Global Quotation Engineer shall be responsible for the quoting of products for assigned customer and projects.The main objective is to secure that the quote reflects the most accurate and competitive estimation of time, equipment and other costs required to manufacture and specific product.

Your new role
The Global Quotation Engineer shall be responsible for the quoting of products for assigned customer and projects.The main objective is to secure that the quote reflects the most accurate and competitive estimation of time, equipment and other costs required to manufacture and specific product.
In the position of Global Quotation Engineer you will:
RFQ process:
- Calculate process times
- Gather information from process engineers for NRE cost
- Present process material, tool, NRE costs
Introduction into serial manufacturing:
- Set-up Routings
- Support local Product Engineers with the necessary preparations for the manufacturing of prototypes (documentation and training)
Regular manufacturing:
- Comply with environmental requirements
- Contact person for technical related questions to BDM and customer
- Comply with all procedures applicable to the job function, work regulations and Code of Conduct
- Identify opportunities and implement actions to reduce wasted time, money and resources from assigned tasks
- Continuously monitor risk, improve processes and increase efficiency
- Interface with other process functions when applicable and relevant
What you'll need to succeed
Formal competence:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in manufacturing, electronics or mechanics engineering
- Lack of formal education may be substituted by relevant work experience
- Good English skills
Professional skills:
- Good knowledge in electronics production.
- Knowledge in electronics production standards
- Prior experience in a similar position would be of high value
Personal skills:
- Interpersonal skills including; high collaboration with others
- Ability to work with challenging deadlines and frequently changing priorities.
