For my client, a global technology company whose systems are helping to create a safer, greener and more connected future, I am looking for a Global Master Data Business Partner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Data Governance process as applicable to the Business Partner (Vendor & Customer) Master data domain including policies, procedures, SOPs, data dictionary, business glossary, data standards including allowed values etc.
- Serve as SME on Master Data projects or manage the Master Data scope on IT projects
- Leading MDM workshops to engage key data stakeholders and gather a common understanding of Business Partner (Vendor & Customer) Master data domain
- Creating and designing the Business Partner (Vendor & Customer) Master data definitions, standards and policies
- Creating and designing the standard business process around the creation and maintenance of Business Partner (Vendor & Customer) Master data
- Design innovative and efficient master data solutions together with the impacted business unit / function and IT
- Evaluate Business Partner (Vendor & Customer) master data related initiatives with different business stakeholders
- Help implement solutions for all impacted processes and applications in relevant regions and business units including SCM
- Responsible for issue resolution and root cause analysis (RCA) for Business Partner (Vendor & Customer) Master Data across all functional processes and IT systems
- Work closely with the functional Global Process Owners (P2P. O2C, R2R) to ensure high quality master data is available for consumption by business processes
- Identify opportunities/priorities to cleanse and harmonise Business Partner (Vendor & Customer)
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
- Modeling experience - data, processes, events, objects
- More than 4 years of knowledge and experience in data quality management
- 4 years college degree or equivalent work experience in data related projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including English. Ability to communicate at multiple levels in an international organization.
- Requirements Analysis
- Lean & Six Sigma techniques, such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGE WILL BE:
- Materials Management experience for SAP ECC & S/4 HANA
- 5+ years of experience in SAP ERP Business Partner (Vendor & Customer) knowledge of master data models
- Knowledge of Data Quality & MDM tool sets (e.g. SAP Information Steward, SAP MDG, Informatica MDM, IDQ, Collibra, etc.).
