Global Category Manager opportunity has become available in this successful global organisation that has an office located in Warsaw. Working for a leading organisation, this independent role will be a part of a global procurement team. With a variety of procurement projects planned across a broad Indirect category portfolio, this role will have significant exposure across the business.
As Global Category Manager for a defined area of spend (MICE- Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events and Travel categories) you will be responsible for the strategic delivery and procurement of key categories within the business for sites located in Poland and other countries. To succeed in this role you will have a proven background within various indirect service procurement. Being able to develop key stakeholder relationships is key to the success of this position, in order to gain commitment and buy-in from dedicated areas of the business.
To succeed in this Global Category Manager role, you must demonstrate a working knowledge of best practice procurement experience across Indirect spend. Experience within MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events) and Travel categories will be an additional asset. Due to the complexity and wide-reaching element of this procurement role, you must have experience working with a wide range of stakeholders. Demonstrable expertise of end-to-end procurement is key with a self-motivated and results focused approach to work a pre-requisite. Fluency in English both written and spoken is a must as well as strong analytical skills.
