Our client, a leading international company based in Warsaw is currently looking for an experienced Global Buyer in direct categories.
As Global Buyer you will be responsible for support the Global Category Teams in the end-to-end sourcing process, including preparing and running the sourcing with a responsibility of business sign-off of the supplier selection, negotiations/renegotiations of terms and conditions and clauses and gathering contract signatures and contracts storage. You will support market research activities and manage sourcing projects. Your responsibility will be to support Global Category Leaders with developing sourcing strategy to deliver category targets and savings targets by actively participating in sourcing process improvement and optimization.
The role will suit an buyer with the work experience in the procurement department (direct categories) or supply chain (preferably in the organisation with a big or mature procurement organisation), experience with end to end Source to Contract process. Necessary is experience in managing stakeholders across the globe within the matrix organization. You need to have ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and excellent communications skills (verbal and written) with the ability to present information in a clear and concise format to all levels within the organization. Alongside this you need to have strong relationship and business partnering skills and effective influencing/persuasion skills and conflict resolution.
