For one of our Clients, Staples, second largest e-commerce giant, opening its Competence Center in Tricity, Randstad are looking for a Global Implementation Manager.
As the Global Implementation Specialist you will be part of the Global Management Team
reporting to the Global Sales Director – Account Management.
Based in the Amsterdam office, the Global Implementation Manager will join a team of Implementation Managers who implement all new accounts that are won within the Global Account Team.

Responsibilities:
- effectively and efficiently manage the integration of new and existing global customers to Staples from contract award to post go live within target timescales
- liaise with all related areas of the business across Staples entities globally and with key business partners to ensure key actions are met within the timescales as laid down in the project plan.
- assume full accountability for all operational actions within the transition period, updating the customer as required.
- assist the sales force in articulating the Global Staples implementation process to prospective customers as required
- deploy project management skills to deliver implementation project plan to time, cost and quality for every customer
- understand customers’ expectations and use data to validate decision making
- produce user guides/ marketing and communication documentation to aid communication of new supplier message from contract agreement to implementation delivery.
- manage all project issues to a satisfactory resolution
- possess a full understanding of Staples internal operational processes with the ability to articulate to customers when required
- adhere to the principles of the Global Operating Model
- feedback to gSAL and gBDE (Staples sales teams) when scope or timeline changes within an implementation
- perform ad hoc duties as set out by senior line management
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Business Management or a related discipline
- Project Management qualification desired
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- Advanced Excel / Access knowledge desirable
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Confident in delivering presentations at a senior level
- Highly motivated, natural achiever with excellent time-management skills
