General Ledger Manager will be a motivational leader, coach and accountancy expert providing technical support to the GL Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing uninterrupted high quality service to clients, leading cooperation with all internal stakeholders and day to day team management.

Ideal candidate should be fluent in English, have sound understanding of accounting principles is a must (IFRS preferred) supported by ACCA or similar qualification and have min. 10 years accounting experience (with min 3 years on managerial position in GL). Form the candidates we expect very strong people management skills, ability to work within tight operational deadlines and priorities and cooperation skills oriented on result and customer needs.

The Manager will be responsible for:
- People management – recruitment, training, coaching, professional development, control of daily workload
- Managing general ledger activities for the Clients
- Managing cooperation with other departments and functions within SSC organisation
- Building and maintaining relations with Clients, acting as escalation point
- Acting as accountancy expert for GL Team, Clients and SSC organisation
- Application of corporate policies and procedures as well as statutory and internal control requirements
- Leading preparation of Statutory Financial Statements and annual audit process
- Supporting Continuous Improvement culture, initiating efficiency changes
- Providing support in special projects
