GL Accounting Specialist

Position purpose
We are looking for a candidate who is ready to be a part of Katowice Delivery Team – Controllership scope.
As a member of this team you will be responsible for high end accounting services and you will work with fully independent team of experts. You will be responsible for company financial data and its accuracy.
Job description
- Payroll postings
- Company level CoA maintenance
- Fixed Assets creation, capitalization, sale
- Reconciliations preparation and approval
- VAT reporting
- HFM reporting
- Internal controls preparation and approval
- Financial Statement final sign off based on IFRS guidelines
- Work closely with the Client and maintain good working relationship
- Identifying potential process improvements
Candidate’s profile
- At least 1 year of experience in GL is required
- Accounting/financial degree or accounting qualifications
- Good accounting skills (IFRS knowledge would be an asset)
- SAP knowledge is required
- Good knowledge of English language (B2 minimum)
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel
- Continuous learning and self development
- Very good analytical skills
- Good Customer Service skills and client-focus attitude
- Flexibility, ability to deal with ambiguity and change, and time pressure
