GL Accountant with English
Our client, an innovative chemicals company with an SSC unit in Poznan is now looking for a GL Accountant to join their high-performing team!

Description
- Register, amend and maintain lease contracts in a lease management IT tool (GLC Amana)
- Maintain the lease management tool parameters, support further system development and updates
- Generate IFRS 16 posting journals, run reports
- Support, calculate and review research and development expense capitalisation
- Perform and coordinate intracompany reconciliation, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, support balance differences elimination, review reporting package
- Create and maintain general ledger accounts master data, create and map cost elements, map the accounts in line with local and IFRS group reporting requirements
- Create and maintain master data for intracompany vendors and customers
- Collaborate with other finance staff and other departments (within Group and ACC)
- Support various internal and external audits
Profile
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance and Accounting
- Experience in GL or reporting, preferably in a multiple legal entity environment
- Well-developed organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to create and meet schedules and deadlines
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with internal customers and external partners
- Practical knowledge of ERP system (SAP knowledge preferred)
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
