GL Accountant with English and Slovakian or Czech

You will be responsible for:

• Assuring correct and timely postings in general ledger, e.g.: fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, provisions

• Responsibility over accounting, statistical reporting and taxes in chosen entities

• US GAAP accounting (monthly, quarterly and annual Group reporting) as well as Statutory accounting, reporting and audits

• Performing month-end closing tasks including accounts reconciliation

• Supporting migration of accounting processes from other countries.

• Cooperation with internal and external audit

• Ensuring that transactions are performed according to corporate policies and statutory regulation

• Assisting in preparation of new internal control documentation

• Testing new systems, tools and policies

Our requirements:

• At least 2-3 years proven experience in accounting, GL preferred

• Fluent English required

• Fluent command of Slovakian or Czech

• Master degree in Accounting/Finance

• Additional accounting qualifications would be regarded as an advantage

• Experience in the area of multinational shared services

• US GAAP or IFRS experience required

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong motivation to work in a dynamic international environment

• Strong expertise of MS Office (advanced MS Excel)

• Experience with ERP solution, Workflow
