General Manager / Dyrektor generalny - kierownik sprzedaży

Objectives of the General Manager Role

  • The initial remit for the General Manager role will be to help establish Hanover's EU facility and build the necessary staff base and infrastructure to run it.
  • Duties for the General Manager will include allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, as well as hiring and training employees.
  • Beyond the establishment and management of the EU operational facility, we would expect the General Manager to develop relationships with the customer base and thereby generate new business and sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, most especially in a manufacturing environment and strong leadership qualities.
  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of different business functions, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities.
  • Excellent communication skills, and fluency in English and Polish
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong work ethic.

GM will be Responsible for:

  • Establishment and management of a manufacturing facility
  • Overseeing daily business operations - working closely with Hanover UK, supplying the EU customer base and maintaining Hanover's excellent reputation for quality and customer service.
  • Hiring, training and management of staff.
  • Analysing accounting and financial data.
  • Creating and managing budgets, providing financial oversight and control
  • Evaluating performance and productivity and improving operational efficiency
  • Researching and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Developing and implementing growth strategies.
  • Generating reports and giving presentations
