PANDORA, one of the world’s largest jewelry brands, is currently looking for a General Ledger Reporting Specialist for its Financial Shared Service Centre for EMEA Region in Warsaw, willing to support the success of this unique brand.
ROLE PURPOSE
Performs monthly HFM reporting, being responsible for overall quality and punctuality of month end closure. Review processes to ensure that all transactions are processed with efficiency and quality.Be responsible for continuous improvement and processes standardization. Handle and take ownership of queries from internal customers and outsourcing partners in a timely and accurate manner. Closely cooperates with Local Finance Teams and Group Finance & Controlling.
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform full month end group reporting (HFM),
- Preform P&L and BS analytical review by providing controlling comments. - explanation for monthly, quarterly and yearly fluctuations,
- Calculate provisions (e.g. sales return, warranty),
- Ensure the data quality and accuracy both in Microsoft Dynamics AX and HFM systems, identify any accounting issues that need attention or adjustment,
- Perform necessary internal controls both as performer and reviewer,
- Coordinate the communication with auditors,
- Cooperate with outsourced service partners for tax and legal compliance topics,
- Support the local finance teams with projects and business partnering,
- Investigate AX system issues,
- Identify opportunities for process improvements regarding quality and productivity,
- Deliver service in line with agreed controls, policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master Degree in Finance or Accounting required,
- Minimum 4 years of experience with accounting,
- Fluent English,
- Strong analytical skills with attention to details,
- Preferably knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP system,
- Preferably knowledge of HFM system,
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and particularly in MS Excel,
- Ability to build and establish a good working relationship with colleagues,
- International mind-set,
- Proactive,
- Excellent communication skills,
- Willingness to learn,
- Ability to prioritize and manage time wisely in a fast paced environment,
- Be able to perform independently.
