To achieve our ambitious growth goals we are currently looking for a Fund Accountant to join Fund Accounting derivatives & FX team that’s part of the Core Fund Accounting department.
Our team is responsible for the full processing, booking and control of foreign ETD derivatives deals. To ensure automated processing you will be the first point of contact to develop our interfaces with our IT.

In this role, you would interact on a regular basis with Asset Managers, Custodians and inter-nal stakeholders. Therefore a high level of confidence combined with excellent communication skills are required. Our team is responsible for the full processing, booking and control of foreign ETD derivatives deals. To ensure automated processing you will be the first point of contact to develop our interfaces with our IT.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- full processing of ETD-derivatives transactions, booking and control as well as moni-toring of all ETD events (including expiry, option exercises and assigments, corporate actions, margin bookings, EMIR reporting)
- control and alignment of internal and external positions with the statements of the custodian and clearer accounts
- assisting with processing Margins and EMIR notifications
- regular contact with custodians, clearers, counterparties as well as advisors and as-set managers for operational issues, complaints handling and delivery formats
- maintaining documents for internal departments and internal and external auditors
- taking part in implementation of new processes and process improvement initiatives as well as new fund projects
Your skills and experience
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related sub-ject advantageous or relevant work experience
- experience in fund accounting of an investment management company or a compa-rable organisation (e.g. custodian); derivatives settlement experience highly advan-tageous
- Knowledge of the interaction between an investment company, clearer, custodian & customer;
- knowledge of different investment products / finance instruments (derivatives, swaps, securities, loans, funds, fixed deposits, etc.);
- confident handling of all common financial instruments and information sys-tems (MS Office)
- very good English skills, German would be advantageous
