A leading digital creative agency, Design Royale is seeking a veteran Front-End Web Developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and independent self-starter.

This person must be able toprioritizea variety of diverse objectives and see them through from start to finish, and be looking to work in a fast-paced environment where the clients' demands are always the first consideration.


Specific Duties:

• Build custom websites and web-based applications to industry standards either alone or in conjunction with a small team (remotely)
• Build Facebook applications
• Maintain, debug, and enhance existing websites
• Research new products and keep current with changing technologies
• Contribute to the development of common code and coordinate with the front-end development and design teams during the product design and development lifecycle
• Review and develop new technologies and opportunities
  
  

Required Experience:

• 5+ years experience building scalable web applications in PHP using MVC frameworks
• Strong MySQL query building experience
• Solid experience with cross-platform, browser compliant HTML (HTML5) and CSS
• Good to great Javascript knowledge (jQuery framework)
• Experience with version control systems, especially SVN
• Experience with e-commerce and mobile commerce application development and customization lifecycles
• Familiarity with integrating popular APIs (parsing JSON, XML), experience with social media APIs beneficial
• Experience implementing Content Management Systems, such as WordPress, including design integration and code customization
• Attention to detail - clean code and precise design translation
  
  

Required Skills:

• PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Version Control Systems (SVN), API's and object oriented programming
