THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.
The company is a leading player in the dairy industry and has a number of well-known brands.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The company is making a push on the quality of their product range. As a part of this push, the company has set up a project team to inspect the quality of its suppliers. In this role, you will give insight in the quality of the suppliers and whether they conform to the company's standards. This assignment will run for 6 months, with a possibility for extension.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review suppliers' quality standards and determine whether they are compliant with the company's standards.
- Provide feedback and negotiate with suppliers, determining what changes are necessary for compliance with the company's standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Technology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry or similar.
- At least 3 years of experience with Quality Assurance in the food industry.
- Experience with specification management is a plus.
- Experience with dairy and/or infant nutrition is a plus.
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
