Fixed Assets/Intercompany Accountant
RTR Fixed Assets/ Intercomapny Accountant supports RTR Accountant Lead in offshore team and is responsible for specified financial accounting activities for a new SSC in Łódź.
The main responsibilities consist of preparation of Fixed Assets and Intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, support for month-end reporting, processing Fixed Assets and manual journal entries and any other routine Fixed Assets activities as per provided guidance. The role is also responsible for updating the guidance as per any necessary changes and ensuring new guidelines are being adhered to. The Role holder is accountable for complying with all relevant internal controls.
The role holder is responsible of ensuring RTR processes meet all operational needs. The role is responsible for specified day-to-day accounting activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles of markets as per provided guidelines
- Processing manual journal entries and intercompany invoices, reconciliation AP and AR statements and issue resolution, processing netting payments, preparation of routine balance sheet reconciliations, :
- Support for month-end reporting as instructed by RTR Market Accountant / Lead
- Prepares ledgers/accounts to identify unusual items
- Provides information and any accounting analysis to RTR Market Lead / Accountant as required
- Preparation of audit deliverables
- Updates & maintains all relevant operational guidelines which are to be followed up by RTR offshore team
- Complete asset capitalization, transfers, and retirements in the Fixed Asset sub-ledger, review and place assets under construction (CIP/AUC assets review)
- Generate and provide reports from fixed asset system as required for financial, tax, and audit purposes
Requirements:
- University Degree in Accounting or equivalent industry experience
- 3-4 years financial accounting experience, preferably in area of Fixed Assets or Intercompany
- Fluent English
- SAP experience
