For one of our clients, a global manufacturing leader in the healthcare industry, with a newly established SSC in Watford (UK)we are looking for candidates for the position of
FIXED ASSETS ACCOUNTANT with GERMAN.
FIXED ASSETS ACCOUNTANT with GERMANwill be responsible for maintaining and updating Fixed Assets ledger accounts, ensuring all transactions are captured and reported accurately and timely in accordance to US GAAP, as well as for preparing journal entries, performing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, participating in month-end closing activities, performing SOX control reviews for assigned objectives, supporting internal and external audits, and preparing various analyses. Fixed Assets Accountant will also be responsible for coordinating the activities of junior accountants, as well as helping to standardize and harmonize all Fixed Asset accounting processes for EMEA region.
We are looking for candidates with an Academic Degree in finance or related area, who have 2+ years of relevant Fixed Assets experience,gained preferably in SSC environment. Working knowledge of SAPsystem and familiarity with internal controls and US GAAP is required, as well as very good English and Germanlanguage skills.
