Firmware Engineer
As a firmware engineer you'll be responsible for managing the daily operations of firmware that supports company's network of cloud-connected devices and user-facing applications. You will also build the Firmware function from the ground up. You'll be responsible for effective management of priorities, deadlines and deliverable on all projects. As a Firmware Engineer you will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.

Description
- Using technical knowledge to develop and maintain firmware revisions
- Conduct and respond to pen-tests
- Impact on business growth if targets not achieved
- Impact on recurring business customers if systems are not deployed properly
- Regular verbal and written communication with both internal and external customers
- Present technical data in a comprehensible format
- Communicate at technical and professional levels demonstrating industry and product knowledge
- Responsible for managing the daily operations of firmware that supports our network of cloud-connected devices and user-facing applications
- Build the Firmware function from the ground up
- Continuously deliver secure products to customers
- Partner with the Information Security team to ensure best security practices are being followed across the team, infrastructure, and services
- Effectively manage priorities, deadlines and deliverable on all projects
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software
Profile
- University degree. Master's in information technology, or related fields, desired ▪ Experience with physical security software applications
- Experience with physical security devices
- Experience enterprise network security and vulnerabilities
- Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, Linux and VM environments
- Experience with Cloud Based environments
- Full understanding of enterprise systems, environments and key drivers
- Experience in SaaS a plus
- International mindset with experience in multi-lingual, multicultural systems is a must
- Excellent English both spoken and written, additional European languages are a strong plus
- Linux servers/daemons, Linux device drivers, Linux kernel patches
- Peripheral devices over busses such as USB, I2C
- Security focused programming
- Experience in (some of) the following: C#, .NET, SQL, JavaScript, Python, CSS, ASP.NET, GIT, TFS, HTML5, JQuery, C++, DevOps, Agile, Typescript, Angular, React, Vue.js, .NET Core, Azure, REST, Linux
- Ccloud-oriented software offerings
- Additional experience in the following a plus: yocto, iot, low power environments, OD Computer vision
