Financial Controller (m/k)
Interesting role for financial controller with accountancy background and tax knowledge. The financial controller will actively and very closely support one of the worldwide biggest Clients plants close to Krakow. The role requires skills and ability to cooperate with SSC and together with its own professional knowledge and experience will improve the quality of financial and management accounting across the organization.

Description
- Analysis on monthly results and financial performance
- Review of margins and implementation of corrections
- Review of actual costs versus budget and last period, understanding and communications of variances to the business leaders
- Management of working capital, improvements in stock rotations
- Coordination and direct the preparation of the yearly budget
- Preparation of presentations about the company and business units financial performance
- Support month-end and year-end close process, cooperate with Group Shared Service Center in preparation and timely publishing of monthly financial statements
- Supervision over preparation of Polish regulatory reporting (located in SSC)
- Supervision over tax reporting process
- Transfer pricing preparation - financial items
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Actively cooperate with business units management and plant managers in setting up financial targets, attending in business reviews
- Cooperation with Group Treasury on netting of foreign exchange rate exposure
- Constant improvement of financial controlling system and ERP system (SAP B1)
- Various ad-hoc financial analysis
Profile
-
University degree, or post graduate in Accounting / Economics
-
Several years of experience in accounting and financial controlling (senior positions) in a manufacturing plant of international company

Experience in month end closing and reporting
-
Experience with statutory reporting, tax reporting

Experience with profit and costs analysis

Proficiency in the use of oral and written English and Polish language

Advanced IT skills: advanced Excel, fluent in data analysis, BI cubes, ERP key user

Record and displaying initiative and innovative ideas

Used to dealing with Senior non-financial managers

Ability to apply dynamism and logical judgement to diverse challenging situations

Ability to find resolution to complicated problems
