Financial Controller for Czechia and Slovakia (m/f)
An exciting opportunity for experienced financial controllers being responsible for 2 countries, willing to work in Prague in Czechia for mid-sized commercial and service company from medical sector with Swedish capital and culture.

Description
- Providing counsel on financial analysis, accounting guidelines and overall business performance and strategy. Develop & present relevant financial analyses, highlighting areas of risk and/or opportunity, providing recommendations,
- Drive the annual budget and forecasting cycles with a strong focus on improving forecast accuracy and process improvement while providing the organisation
- Coordinate and support budget preparation, structure and reporting process,
- Lead the accounting functions of the country,
- participation in the creation and implementation of the company's financial strategy,
- evaluation of investment projects and financial supervision over their implementation,
- Analyse financial results of the business,
- Responsible for country balance sheets,
- Responsible for ensuring accounting compliance,
- Manage the books for assigned legal entity,
- Support of statutory tax departments with quarterly and year-end tax entries and reporting, providing financial reports to support tax calculations. Provide supporting documentation as required for audits.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field,
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial role with strong evidence of professional advancement,
- Excellent English, both written and spoken,
- Experience in Healthcare/Pharma/FMCG industry with a multinational foreign parent company is strongly desired,
- Very analytical, able to consume lots of numbers and make appropriate decisions,
- Team worker with well-developed collaboration skills,
- Ability to plan, set objectives, measure performance at all levels of local organisation.
- Strong presentation skills accompanied with interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written),
- Solid experience with ERP system functions and financial systems; Sage and Cognos reporting a plus.
