Financial Analyst is an essential member of local teams who plays significant role in providing accurate information to decision makers, as well as to ensure all local planning systems are maintained properly. He/she ensures that all planning processes are properly supported with available information to ensure accurate forecasting. It is critical that Financial Analyst is providing ideas on how to optimize/simplify analytical and reporting tools.
Major Activities:
- Actual results analysis and reporting
- Actual results analysis and reporting to local organizations and to Cluster
- Cooperation in preparation of financial reports and analyses of the company
- Support Marketing teams and Departments Leads in creating financial plans
- Analysis of variances for actual results vs. plans
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing, and explaining information
- Planning for overheads costs
- Work closely with Accounting on the month-end processes
- Business Decision support
- Proactivity in terms of information to be provided to decision makers
- Understanding the underlying business decisions that resulted in analyzed financial outcomes
- Financial regular (BPC, IFP) and ad-hoc submissions
- Submissions of plans to IFP and then to BPC for all departments
- Ensure consistency and correctness of data submitted to official MSD planning systems (IFP, BPC)
- Consolidation of financial plans
- IFP maintenance
- To ensure that IFP tool is properly maintained and used on country level
- Other
- Analytical support for Ad hoc projects needed for the business; Supporting Customer Service in Demand forecasting; Pricing monitoring; Answering to regional requests.
Requirements:
- Master or Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics or related field
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience in FPA
- Willingness to learn MSD’s business and “look beyond the numbers”
- Language requirements: English fluent
- Ability to build productive working relationships within a multicultural environment
- Expert user of Excel. SAP experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and technical competencies as described above
- Adheres to the highest standards of trustworthy and ethical behavior in all interactions and holds others to the same standards; complies with all laws, policies and regulations; identify and addresses ethical issues without hesitation
