For one of our clients – the leader in the logistic field - which is currently opening a branch in Poland, we are looking for candidates for the position of: Finance Team Leader - Controlling
Responsibilities
• Accountable for timely and correct execution of ongoing Controlling activities and respective (sub-)process according to SLA
• Leads team members to ensure staff performance, motivation and development
• Supports the overall process design and the management of change requests
• Manages resolution process of issues raised within (sub-)process area and align topics with relevant stakeholders
• Manages the integration process of new countries
• Manages functional on-boarding, training and development of team members
• Supports and manages identification and implementation of continuous improvement measures
Skills & Experience
• 2-3 years in a leadership role and at least 6 years of controlling experience required
• Fluent English and Polish (at least C1)
• Deep understanding of Controlling processes - planning and budgeting, reporting data collection, verification and standard reporting, supporting business case development
• Strong understanding of controls required within an accounting organization
• Experience in managing teams & individuals with different backgrounds
• Ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, then make clear and timely decisions consistent with the interest of the company
• Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and persuasion in a cultural diverse environment; strong organizational skills, open minded and receptive to change
• Academic degree (e.g. Business Administration, Accounting, Finance)
• Advanced Excel skills; Very good knowledge of SAP ERP and BI solutions and analytics
• Readiness to travel across the Europe – monthly
