Our corporate client, an international company which became the world leader in high quality infrastructure management services while covering the entire EMEA region seeks Systems Administration specialist with Unix experience. The candidate's activities include server installation and server configuration, migration, cloning, upgrades, HACMP configuration and administration

Responsibilities:

• Problem resolution
• Change planning and execution
• Patch management
• Execute the technical activities needed to provide the steady state service
• Perform detailed technical analysis on the Customer environment in order to proactively identify problems that can arise
• Understand the Customer Service behind technical components
• Define the detailed technical needs and plan them
• Strictly follow and implement the defined security rules
• Identify proper solutions to minimize service costs
• Activate the defined escalation path when needed

• High School Graduate
• at least 2 years experience in the similar position
• Excellent knowledge of UNIX, Specialist in of of following technologies: HP-UX, Sun Solaris, AXI or Linux
• Understanding of LVM
• Understanding of HACMP, configuration, administration
• Basic experience in Systems and Network monitoring
• Problem determination & analysis skills
• English: communicative
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Good knowledge of Change and Problem management tools
• excellent team working skills balanced with ability to work alone and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of Sun Solaris, Linux (Red Hat, Suse), SAN, Veritas clustering, VIO servers, LPARs, Tivoli SW (DM, TEC, SWD, TSM etc.) - advantage
