Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the European Supply Planner you will be working in an international team to create a selection of the best possible: production, inventory, procurement and transportation/distribution plans for various plants throughout Europe. This is done for both short to mid-term time frames.This requires you to communicate a lot with the sales departments regarding their forecasts. This position is within a team of several other planners who report to the overall Supply Planning Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Using the available planning software you are responsible for creating several different plans to ensure a perfect flow of goods/products for multiple European plants. You will be working in a team of almost 10 planners with whom you plan the proces from production to warehousing. Also you will be responsible for:
- Reducing overall costs throughout the Supply Chain
- Participating in monthly S&OP review meetings
- Participating in project groups across different departments
- Optimising your planning
- Continuously improving the supply chain processes
- Solving possible issues between supply & demand
REQUIREMENTS
For this role you need to have:
- A BSc or MSc degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations or similar
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar role with a max of 6 years
- The ability to work efficiently with SAP APO and Excel
- Fluent in both English and Dutch, written and verbal
- An interest in continues improvement and strong analytical skills
