ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be the Endive Breeding specialist in this company. Having experience with this or closely related vegetables is a required standard to accelerate your performance and value within the company. Furthermore, you will maintain a close relationship with the other breeders of which each one has their own specialization. Knowledge sharing and gross breeding result into intriguing outcomes, in which you play an important role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop new species and manage/enhance existing endive crop programs
• Asses and analyze data of yearly production reports
• Identify trends and apply outcomes
• Continue to improve on crop structures
• Increase resistant and productivity of plants
REQUIREMENTS
• PhD/MSc in agricultural related fields or equivalent working experience
• Ranging from 2-5 years of work experience in a commercial environment
• Advanced breeding knowledge with endive or closely related crops (Cichorium)
• Native/Fluent Spanish and/or fluent in English is a must
• Strong communicative skills and an open/independent attitude
