EMEA Cost Manager (f/m)
The primary objective of this role is to supervise the costing methodology and the costing team in Europe for the Advanced Refractories Business Unit. A person on this role will have close cooperation with the manufacturing plant and finance management within the EMEA region and SSC located in Cracow.

In their worldwide structures exist regional centres among which the Polish unit is the biggest one.
Description
- Cooperation with the cost accounting staff in EMEA region
- Cooperation with management level within the group
- Ensure that costs for the company's products and services are allocated according to corporate procedures and in compliance with financial accounting standards.
- Oversee the cost control systems, manages and interprets cost audits, and prepares cost accounting reports for presentation to management.
- Taking part in the annual budget process
- Ensure the arrangement of cost of production to material costs, wages, and overhead costs.
- Preparation estimates of costs for unique products to establish prices of products and to forecast production.
- Apply the budget in costing system - setting up rates and other cost elements.
- Prepare, devise, and regulate procedures for establishing unit cost of services and products.
- Update and Maintaining of the standard costs for material and finished goods items.
- Measure the time for various blue-collar work activities.
- Analyze of manufacturing variances on a monthly basis
- Organise monthly cost review meetings with plant management.
Profile
- Minimum 7 Years of experience in accounting or finance controlling
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes
- Demonstrable in-depth knowledge of cost processes
- Demonstrable ability to engage and manage senior and different level stakeholders and multicultural audience through superior communication and presentation skills
- Fluent English
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, partner to senior management
