VACANCY: ELECTRONICS DESIGN ENGINEER
(permanent position)
LOCATION: Johnson Matthey Battery Systems Sp. z o. o., Gliwice
Essential resource within the Battery Management System Team in Gliwice in the design development and introduction of BMS for low voltage battery systems. Develops electronics design solutions to meet cost figures and customer expectations.
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Knowledge of electronics circuit design, from requirements, through simulation, schematic to PCB.
- Competence with Altium CAD software or similar.
- Basic knowledge of C++/C and electronics components (i.e. micro-controllers).
- 1 – 3 years of experience in electronic system design for industrial or automotive electronics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or a related degree with a strong electronics content.
- Good command of English, knowledge of German would be an asset.
- Self-starter; well organized and able to work to challenging deadlines.
Key responsibilities:
- Design of electronic Battery Management Systems.
- Support test and development activities (ex. creation of DFMEA, Design Validation Plans and Reporting)
- Create specification of, and supervision during product validation testing.
- Define, prepare and issue necessary documentation (project, product, user manuals), submission of project reports, timesheets, and other documentation.
- Provide Customer and Supplier support activities and provide timely support to Manufacturing and Operations within JMBS.
- Working in close cooperation with the Program Engineering Managers, to autonomously carry out Electrical and Electronic engineering design tasks.
- Submit structured periodical Project Reports including KPIs, to the Engineering Management.
