E-commerce Search Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Generate and distribute ongoing reporting and analysis about the onsite search program using Excel
- Manage the onsite search tool through rule sets to improve search results based on input from the merchants as well as insights from the onsite search analysis
- Develop insightful recommendations from Omniture data to the product, content and merchandising teams allowing them to improve search relevance and revenue within their channel (online, B2B & B2C)
- Work with different stakeholders to support cross-channel initiatives (bigger e-commerce organization, UX, Online Merchandising, SEO, Digital Marketing, etc.)
- Conduct trending analysis to identify performance gaps, highlight strengths, and provide recommended corrective actions
- Identify and test enhancements for onsite search and develop recommendations
- 1 - 3 years of Ecommerce experience across multiple channels
- Familiarity with MS Excel and Access to combine data from disparate sources delivering comprehensive, balanced and actionable analysis
- Working knowledge of Webanalytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst, Coremetrics
- Strong problem solving and quantitative analytical skills
- Capable of executing predictive analysis using advanced tooling like R and/or SQL is a plus
- Proactive work style with proven ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast moving environment
