Currently, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer who will carry out a project for our Client - one of the industry’s most respected and acclaimed suppliers and game's providers for some of the world’s biggest operators.
Main tasks
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer based in fast-growing technology centre in Krakow, Poland. Working with teams in Development and Operations, you will bridge the gap between Development and SysAdmin, setting up and monitoring company's development and staging environments to be secure, robust, and highly available. Collaborating with teams across the business, you have the chance make a great impact in production times and processes.
Working with a small but high performing DevOps team in a high performing games development studio, you will quickly take on significant responsibility and influence within the team. In a position that is multi-functional by nature, You may have come from either a development or a SysAdmin background, with a strong appreciation and experience in both disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Administration of Linux servers
- Administration of Java application servers
- Helping development team with delivering packages up to the production systems
- Take ownership of build servers and deployment tools
- Taking care of technical issues (3rd line of support)
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years in similar position
- Excellent knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, Centos, RHEL)
- Very good knowledge of services such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, Jboss
- Very good knowledge of automation and build tools (ansible, chef, jenkins, artifactory)
- Writing scripts to help automation tools
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Sensu, Icinga, etc...)
- Good written and spoken English
- Experience with designing and implementing Linux containers environments (Docker, CoreOS, fleet, etcd)
- Experience with Jira and Confluence
