Our Client, an international automotive company due to its development is currently looking for experienced and ambitious candidates to work on the positions of Design Resident Engineer.
New positions have been created to be based in either Germany or United Kingdom.
Resident – Engineerwill be responsible for designing components, implementing needed modifications, preparing technical documentation, cost and weight optimization in order to support projects running at client’s plant. Moreover, she/he will provide technical guidance as a contact person for technical requests of suppliers and of other departments. Therefore, the role involves significant communication at all level within the business.
To be successful in this role you will possess a degree in Mechanical/ Design Engineering or equivalent. The ideal candidate has min. 3 years work experience in launching new projects/ implementing and developing products (hose system)/ and in designing. Experience on similar position especially with Catia V5, knowledge on Lean Manufacturing and fluent Englishand fluentGermanare a must. He/she should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong leadership skills.
Willingness to relocate is required.
