Design Automation Assistant/Asystent ds. BIM i automatyzacji procesów projektowych
Location: KrakówMain responsibilities:
- Cooperation with engineers and designers of other disciplines
- Set up and maintain a project design
- Initiate and maintain a streamlined system for issuing of design packages
- Identify supplementary software tools for maintaining and improving on a streamlined / automated CAD & BIM infrastructure
- Set up and maintain (QA drawings) draughting standards including CAD layer system, inter-discipline drafting symbology, titlesheets etc.
- Set up and maintain a project design, CAD co-ordination system of xrefs and plot drawings
- Set up design automation processes
- Set up BIM review models and multidisciplinary clash detection
- Customise CAD menus for automation of functions
- Liase with management regarding resource planning and any technical issues of a CAD nature
- Liase with IT department regarding CAD IT infrastructure (file servers, print servers, system protocols/rights access etc.)
- Liase with IT to manage software resources and ensure compliance with company software policies
- Interact with DAG Support Groups elsewhere in the firm to ensure the transfer of technical knowledge and standards
The minimum qualifications for this position are:
- Bachelor degree in technical discipline
- Knowledge of AutoCAD in a drafting/design or support role
- Knowledge of Bentley Microstation in a drafting/design or support role
- Familiar with BIM applications (Revit, NavisWorks)
- Background in the use of databases such as, Microsoft Access or Bentley Project Wise
- Familiar with batch file programming
- Must be a self-starter with strong organizational and communication skills
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadline
- Fluent English - written and spoken
- Flexibility for travel (short time-frame)
