For our team we are currently looking for Data Warehouse Architect (place of work Poland or Argentina).
Responsibilities:
• Utilize business systems analysis expertise to deliver DW technical solutions.
• Apply best practices to gather end-user requirements, write business and functional specification documents to be utilized by the Data Architecture, Data Integration, Business Intelligence and Data Quality to deliver a solid data warehouse environment.
• Design and implementation of large and medium scale data warehouses, management information systems and operational data stores.
• Manage projects from inception through implementation, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met and accurate and timely communication takes place.
• Design and implementation of processes, methods and tools supporting data quality analysis and management.
• Proven experience in the role of Data Warehousing environment in a business functional area (e.g. IT, sales, financial, CRM, marketing, etc.) in gathering, analyzing and documenting requirements.
• Experience with OLTP and OLAP data modeling, data transformation, movement, and business intelligence applications.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with data and information architecture patterns and implementation approaches for Operational Data Stores, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, Data Lakes, Virtualization, Integration Layers, etc
• Demonstrated experienced with the following: Data Governance, Data Architecture, Data Modeling & Design, Metadata, Master Data, Data Quality (to include data profiling), Content Management, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence, Database Management (including Changed Data Capture (CDC)), Data Security, Data Integration (to include streaming data).
• Experience working with all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and project management steps used in delivering IT solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SQL to write intermediate level SQL coding to help analyze data.
• Proven skills with Data Warehouse ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, Data Stage
• Understanding of BI principles and BI tools such as Qlikview, Tableau, Cognos, Business Objects etc.
• Ability to interpret and/or write system documentation and technical specifications.
• Understanding or Experience in big data warehouse solutions such as SAP Hanna, Hadoop, and Oracle will be a plus.
• Experience in working for start-up, virtual projects, good understanding of start-up environment will be a plus.
• Experience in working across multiple geographies and with multi-disciplined teams, to integrate processes will be a plus.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
• Very good oral and written communication skills in English.
