Digital Foundation program is on a mission to build data as an asset and transform master data capabilities including: people, process, technology, and data. One of the key ingredient in building Data-as-as-an-asset is around building Data Governance & Organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with Data Councils and DQ Portfolio Managers –to identify and translate standards (Governance) into DQ rules, including business requirement, testing, rollout, training etc. With the objective of create a global DQ catalog per Data Council.
- Monitor DQ KPIs adherence and engage regional and local units/markets partnering with Data Stewards with cleansing activities that will improve the DQ KPI’s.
- Identify and drive continues improvement process that will improve data quality.
- Actively influence and support the global set of tools, frameworks and process to implement data quality.
- Drive projects for large scale cleansing of data where applicable.
- Build DQ rules associated to demand in SAP Info Steward
- Identify, compare and resolve data quality problems presented within rule sets
- Help DQ Portfolio Managers & Business lead in root cause analysis of the DQ issues
- Work with DQ Team Lead to Identifying data gaps and establishing a process or system changes to capture the missing information using Data Needs Analysis
- Develop routines in SAP Data Services to perform mass cleansing in support of large data cleansing initiatives.
- Execute test cases and verify test results to validate mass cleansing routines.
Requirements:
- Has minimum 3-5 years of experience in Master Data Management and Data Analysis.
- Has experience in working in a complex multi-national corporate environment.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple teams including: DQ Portfolio Manager, Data Champions and Regional Data Stewards, etc.
- Detail analysis in order to identify opportunities (trends) in the data that will trigger continues improvement activities.
- Being able to engage the business in cleansing activities.
- Strong background in SAP Information Steward and SAP Data Services developer, SQL AND SAP ECC
- Drive continues improvement process.
- Proficient in writing and oral communications
