You will join our Client, an international, globally well-known company, that is opening the new office in Poland, Warsaw.
Your new role
Data Engineer manages the data pipelines and the data pipeline jobs together with a team of both internal and external talent. The candidate will focus on getting the data to flow from a to b within the target architecture and requirements for the data solutions. Data Engineer working together with the rest of the data team to ensure that the data solutions are supporting the business purpose and are of high quality, secure and scalable.
Responsibilities:
•Defining and ensuring data pipelines are created and managed to ensure data delivery for advanced analytics•Ensuring that the data pipeline framework is implemented and managed in the data platform•Bridging the data and the technology requirements during advanced analytics projects•Continuously improving the data pipelines and the data architecture for the pipelines to ensure consistency and quality in data delivery. •Ensure that data are handled according to architecture and requirements both functional and non-functional•Handling the rollout processes of the data pipelines and setting up new data pipelines for advanced analytics projects•Documenting best practices for data pipelines•Ensuring deployment and monitoring methodology of data solutions are following operational standards
What you'll need to succeed
•Experienced Data Engineer with a background from similar roles•Interpersonal ability to maintain effective communication with multiple people from different departments •Self-starter and proactive in identifying needs and opportunities for innovation, best practice deployment and service improvement•Good working knowledge of data models with SQL, NoSQL and document oriented data stores•Experience working with data science and data science models in production
