HRO Personnel is a Human Resources service provider operating under number 6696. We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Data Architect
Location: Kraków- Kapelanka
Key Accountabilities:
Provide technical and thought leadership, strategic thinking and architectural direction on data projects and studies
Implementing the future state data architecture visions for projects from the commercial banking area and create clear data architecture solution choices, to provide analysis on benefits/challenges
Define and communicate commercially aware architecture designs for data solutions in accordance to data design authority governance and CDO standards
Work closely with the project teams, CDO and other other stakeholders to meet the projects requirements aligned with CDO standards, IT and CDO & business strategies
Identifying operational and delivery risks
Provide governance on data architecture, data standards and target operating models for data activities
Ensure that data architecture results are compliant with the stated requirements, approved technologies, best practices and group strategies
Requirements (Must have):
University graduate of Computer Science/IT-related field, preferably with major in Software/System engineering or relevant working experience in the field
Banking experience
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation with good command of written and spoken English
Four-year experience in defining data architecture in the banking area, e.g., Investment management, commercial banking, etc
Familiar with external data feeds, e.g., D&B, Thomson Reuters, etc
Experience in Data Modeling
Ability to connect Blocks/Components
Good technical background related to Big Data technologies
Administration, Integration and Development
Languages: SQL/HQL, PigLatin
Tools: Spark, Hive, HBase, Hadoop, Kafka, Flume, Storm, NiFi
Good technical background related to Data Warehouse/RDBMS in one or more such technologies: Oracle, Teradata, DB2, MSSQL, MySQL
Experience with BI Tools
Knowledge of usage Design Tools (e.g. EA, Archimate, IDA, Erwin, etc.)
Knowledge of SDLC/Agile methods
Proactive, can-do and open way of work as a must
Nice to have:
Knowledge of the MDM, InfoSphere, MQ, ETL, API Management, Web Services
Script languages: Python, Bash
Conducting Data Workshops/Trainings
A good understanding of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or others
