On behalf of our Client, we are currently looking for experienced and motivated individual to take up Data Analyst position and to join the team in Katowice.
Initial contract duration: 6 months with option to extend
Location: Katowice, Poland
Our Client is a global Industrial and Mining company with locations on five continents and operations in more than 25 countries. With over 40 years of experience, our client is an industry-leading provider of solutions in mining, construction and civil engineering industries.
Key responsibilities include:
Creates and maintains financial databases and reports. Takes a data set between countries and find common materials and ensure mapped to the same material codes as part of transition.
- Conducts financial analyses and performance against objectives, as well as determines emerging financial trends.
- Interacts with other department members on special projects or on an as-needed basis.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and presents them in simple terms.
- Accurate and timely completion of month end, quarterly and year end accounting, reporting and analytics.
- Business case delivery and ad hoc assessment of investment spend.
- Monthly variance analysis for P&L and balance sheet.
- Cash flow analysis and preparation.
Wymagania
Candidate profile:
- Strong analytical thinker and the ability to provide impactful analytics.
- Proficient in managing large data sets in MS Excel.
- Previous experience in Hyperion, Salesforce and other ERP tools strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, English and Polish/ Other European languages.
- Flexible and able to operate in a continually changing environment.
- Required 2-4 years of related experience
