We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:

 

Cybersecurity Operations Reporting Manager

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Managing and maintaining a skilled, efficient and effective local team, which provides a range of global support services, consumed both internal and external stakeholders.

Management of all reporting artefacts for the GCO function, including driving the necessary change to ensure Cybersecurity systems are producing the necessary MI, reporting is automated wherever feasible and reporting capability is continuously improved.

Engagement with Client Engagement Managers to gather reporting requirements and gauge effectiveness of reporting.

Resource planning and management – Manage incoming resource requests, forecast resource requirements, manage future headcount requirements and report on resource usage and forecasts.

Change gateway management - Ensure operational readiness of the GCO function prior to acceptance of changes that impact the GCO function.

Technical security standards management – Ensure all technical security standards owned by the GCO function are maintained.

Process and procedure management - Ensure all GCO process and procedures are maintained.

Risk and audit issue management – Ensure regulatory, risk and audit issue mitigation actions, owned by the GCO function are actioned within agreed timescales and periodic reporting of such is maintained.

Internal control assurance – Manage the reviewing, gathering of evidence and reporting on effectiveness of GCO internal controls.

Budget/Finance management – Manage the maintenance, tracking and reporting on GCO finances.

Supplier management – Manage the co-ordination of supplier management meetings with GCO supplier owners. Manage the maintenance, tracking and reporting on supplier performance, issues, risks and remediation of such.

Performance management oversight – Ensure the GCO function meets all of its performance management, training and development obligations. Track and report on such.

Cybersecurity mail box management – Manage the response to GCO Mailbox queries and/or redirection to specialist functions.

Incoming security assurance response management – Support the broader Cybersecurity function in responding to third party requests for assurance on operational security activities.

Strategy and Planning – Support the Head of GCO and the Global Heads of GCO services, in strategy creation, maintenance and planning to achieve the strategy.

Branding and Communications – Support the Global Head of Client Engagement and Support Services in delivering the Branding and Communications Strategy.

Supporting engagement of company Global Businesses and Functions to drive a global up-lift in cyber-security awareness and help to evangelise Cybersecurity efforts and success.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Skills:

Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one.

Ability to define and refine operational procedures, workflows and processes to support the team in consistent, quality execution of its reporting requirements.

Good understanding of cyber security principles, global financial services business models, regional compliance regulations and applicable laws.

A basic understanding and knowledge of common industry cyber security frameworks, standards and methodologies, including; OWASP, ISO2700x series, PCI DSS, GLBA, EU data security and privacy acts, FFIEC guidelines, CIS and NIST standards.

Understanding of business finance, as well as effective management of budgets and expenditure.

Technical Skills

Ability to identify, develop and track key performance indicator (KPI) metrics for accurate and contextual evaluation of operational effectiveness as well as providing recommendations for control improvement and mitigating control adjustments.

 

Industry Experience and Qualifications:

3+ years’ experience in a similar reporting or finance management leadership role, including team, capability and staff development, career management and recruitment, preferably within a regulated enterprise scale organisation or service provider.

Industry recognised cyber security related certifications including; CISM, CISA and/or CISSP would be beneficial, but not essential.

Formal education and advanced degree in Management, Business, Finance, Technology or similar.
