THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Biotechnology organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.

A global leading manufacturer of drug products expanding its portfolio into drug development. With roughly 2000 employees world wide, the company is very internationally driven. They have a strong presence in the field of antibiotics, sterile products and next generation Statins.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As the technical Customer Service Manager you will be the key connector between R&D, Marketing and Sales and will have the possibility to develop your skills on all three fronts. You have a sound knowledge of our products portfolio and from this position you are able to instruct our Marketing and Sales teams and explain the value proposition of new or improved products. Besides this task you will also be involved in the acquisition of new clients and be responsible for the evaluation of existing customer relations. Where needed you will support our clients with the implementation of our products and improve efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Taking trails at customers and assist them in stabilizing their formulation (process), and helping new customers to launch new formulations
- Participate in International Sales & Marketing events
- Support the Sales team, customer service and business development with technical data/dossiers, spec reviews, customer specific orders, samples and complaints
- Understanding the regulatory requirements of products and the market, and provide adequate support
- Involved in organizing, executing and following up of customer audits
- Interacting with customers by way of technical discussions, propose new / changed product specifications
- Be a direct link with R&D. Be involved in the launch of new products and new grades.

REQUIREMENTS

- Experience directly or indirectly with drug production (4-6 years)
- Experience in RA or QA in the pharmaceutical industry is a pé
- Msc in either Biomedical, Chemical, Pharmacy or a Medical field
- Full of initiative and autonomous
- Capable of analyzing problems on a high level
- Extrovert personality and self propelling
