ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Cucurbits Breeding Specialist, you will be conducting several breeding project for optimization of this variety. This will include collaborating with various departments within the organization. Having these responsibilities requires performance of the following tasks to the highest standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Close co-operation with data and information specialists
• Implement planning, research and innovation into practice
• Prepare the breeding programs for implementation
• Improve vegetable characteristics
• Seek opportunities to further improve customer satisfaction and quality based on data
REQUIREMENTS
When you want to successfully fulfill this role you should have relevant experience in the following identifications:
• PhD in Agronomy, Plant Breeding Genetics or related studies
• Between 3-6 years of commercial experience in the Crop science industry as breeding professional
• Strong writing and speaking skills in Spanish, English, Dutch or other relevant languages
• Hands-on mentality to anticipate to the daily operations and strong team skills
• Enjoy traveling multiple times around the year
