We are working as a recruitment provider searching on our Client's behalf for a person in the following role:
Cross-Functional Engineer
Key Accountabilities:
Translating detailed designs into robust, scalable and reusable solutions that deliver exceptional user experience driven by the product teams, within a demanding, maturing Agile environment
We promote a DevOps culture, so you will need to look beyond pure programming and get involved with the deployment and operation of the software you build
Deliver end-to-end components of the user journey, especially front- and back- end layers consuming RESTful microservices,

Technical Skills (Web Development):
Building ‘mobile first’, responsive, adaptive single page applications by coding in standards compliant HTML5, CSS3, ES6, Java 8
Solid awareness of cross-browser/device and cross platform development
Experience consuming REST APIs and utilising JSON for web or mobile applications
Tools / Methodologies:
CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus
F/E tooling - Node.js, React, Redux, Yarn, Babel, PM2
B/E tooling – Spring Boot, Maven, Postman
Test automation development tooling - Selenium, Junit, Wiremock, Mocha, Chai, Jest
Agile Toling – Jira, Confluence, Slack
Application Monitoring – Splunk, AppDynamics
PaaS/IaaS – Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), AWS, Mule API gateway
Lean and Agile methods of software delivery (Scrum, Kanban, Lean UX, XP
