Credit Analyst

Location: Warszawa

Actually within Diebold Nixdorf BPO Sp. z o. o. we are looking for a Credit Analyst in our EMEA Business Services Center in Warsaw.

The Credit control and cash collection team owns the overall collection and dispute management process as well as credit control functions within EMEA Business Services, a captive shared services center supporting Diebold Nixdorf units throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Primary task of the Credit Analyst is to provide risk profile assessments for Diebold Nixdorf’s Accounts Receivable portfolio while adhering to credit policies and procedures. The function reports to the responsible for EMEA Credit Control and Cash Collection.

The main tasks in this role will be

  • Assess creditworthiness of our existing customer base through formal review
  • Determine degree of risk involved with new/existing customer accounts
  • Analysis of financial statements for both privately-held and publicly traded companies
  • Secure completed credit applications in addition to bank/trade references
  • Handling all steps of the letter of credit process
  • Prepare credit reviews using our existing platform, recommend risk ratings and submit for approval
  • Communicate risk assessment and credit limit rationale to commercial and senior management
  • Order Dun & Bradstreet’s and additional 3rd party reports as requested or as needed
  • Routinely monitor aging for signs of distress; assist in controlling credit exposure Adhere to credit policy and guidelines

Requirements to successfully fill this role are a university degree, preferably with a focus on business and finance as well as relevant (more than 2 years) experience in performing credit analysis in an international environment as well as experience with handling letters of credit.

Excellent Excel skills and good knowledge of the other components of MS Office. Very good communication and presentation skills are necessary to interact and manage the relations with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

The main working language is English which has to be fully mastered; good knowledge of any other major working language of our center (i. e. French, German, Spanish, Russian) would be an advantage.
