For our Client, an outsourcing company located in Wrocław, we are currently looking for candidates willing to work as a Country Controller with German or French or Italian.
Being a Country Controller, the Candidate will be a part of Legal, Tax and Statutory Team, working closely with Regional Controller under the set of financial statements and applicable notes in accordance with local GAAP and will play a key role in closing the company’s books on a regular basis. Furthermore, responsibilities on this position include preparation of monthly or quarterly statutory balance sheet reviews, as well as profit and loss analytical reviews, supervision of ongoing statutory or tax reviews, while dealing with auditors and cooperation with tax teams, as well as with third party external providers, if needed, for all matters. What more, the Candidate will need to ensure the compliance with company’s financial policies and local legal accounting regulations and liaison with local government agencies. This position will also require the Candidate to be actively involved in improvement projects and new system implementations. We are looking for candidates having a university degree in business or economics or an accounting certification. It is required to have at least 5 years of experience in a variety of finance functions – Chief Accountant and Financial Analyst positions, as well as experience in external audit. What more, the Candidate must stand out with his excellent analytical skills, proven knowledge of local tax rules and with an understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis. The Candidate needs to have superior communication and teamwork skills. Fluent English and German or Italian or French language skills and familiarity with business applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel) are required.
