THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Flandre Orientale Belgium.
Our client is a large company specialized in convenience food. It is rapidly expanding and owns several well-known brands.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Corporate Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for food safety and quality for the company's 3 production sites. This position combines both strategic and operational responsibilities. As the Corporate QA Manager, you will manage the Quality Department (6 fte) and report to the Operations Director. The Corporate QA Manager is part of the Management Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing quality & food safety in 3 production sites (in East-Flanders).
- Managing the Quality Department (6 fte).
- Translating corporate goals and strategy into long- and short-term quality strategies and projects.
- Ensuring quality improvement in cooperation with Production, Logistics and Sales.
- Participating in R&D and Continuous Improvement projects.
- Managing supplier and client relations, handling complaints.
- Conducting and performing audits.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master Bio-Engineering, Biochemistry or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance in a leadership position.
- Experience with HACCP, IFS and GMP.
- Knowledge of food safety legislation.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement.
