With its administration, insourcing and risk management services, the company focuses on the administration and structuring of funds, securities, real assets as well as alternative asset classes and offers complex risk management solutions.
The Corporate Investment Services department is responsible for the set up and maintenance of investment structures as target investments for the various fund-products of Universal-Investment and its subsidiary in Luxembourg. TheCorporate Investment Services department actively advises on the development of investment structures and accompanies transactions from a corporate and investment law perspective. It is the central point of contact for investment issues in the Universal-Investment-Group and comprehensively represents the shareholder interests of Universal-Investment. In addition, the department monitors and manages the subsidiaries and companies in the target countries.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Systematic recording of the contractual relationship of investment companies (e.g. with accountants, tax advisors, legal advisors, company secretaries) in the systems of the Universal-Investment
- Internal contact person with regard to data of investment companies
- Monitoring of annual reports of the managed funds with special focus on the managed investment companies
- Initiation of valuation reports and recording of the final expert opinions about the value of investment companies in accordance with German investment legislation
- Keeping deadline planner for investment companies (e.g. for annual financial statements, valuation reports, tax returns and audits). Monitoring the data maintenance of external service providers with respect to commercial and company registers.
- Assistance and support in the processing of corporate actions for German and Luxembourg fund vehicles (e.g. calendar management, documentation of status quo, follow-up the documentation and information to the custom advisors)
- Preparation of Power Point presentations on the topics of investment management
- Project work specified by the department head within Corporate Investment Services -department in Poland, Germany and Luxembourg or inter-divisional
- Maintenance of participation structures and records in electronic and physical form as well as ongoing administrative activities
- Monitoring of due dates and deadlines
- Preparation of data for queries from custodians and international authorities
- Support in investment controlling measures
- Quality control of participation data
- Plausibility checks on the investment company data
Qualifications, Experience/ Skills and Key Competencies
- Master’s degree or equivalent qualification Business Administration, Corporate Investment Administration or Controlling or related subject
- Experience in controlling processes
- Passionate about digitalization and new technologies
- Knowledge and understanding of standard technology typically used within a financial services organization and fund industry
- Demonstrated track record and results orientation
- Superior customer service focus
- Highly dedicated to execute organizational workstreams
- Fluent in English
- German language skills would be preferred
