THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
For their plant in the West of the Netherlands, this client looking for an addition to their convenience food team. Their focus is on innovation, so you will be working in a large team spread out over multiple plants in Europe.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You know how to translate customer needs to new convenience and deep-fried products. For this, you have experience with New Product Development as well as improvement of existing food products. You will advice colleagues on what is possible and then try to set new limits! Naturally, the focus is on clean products, keeping consumer health in mind and following latest trends. Cooperation with colleagues from other departments is a large part of the job, so you are a great communicator who knows to translate complicated matter into simple explanations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• NPD from concept to product
• Keeping a culinary oversight of what products are desirable
• Guiding colleagues and showing them the development limits
• Advising peers
• Close cooperation with different departments
• Briefing departments about product development
REQUIREMENTS
• MSc Food Science, preferably a Phd in Food Technology
• Practical experience with product development
• Ability to translate theory to practice
• Communicative, on all levels, both internally and externally
• Fluent Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Flexible personality, curious, convincing, open and driven
