This is an exciting opportunity to work as project controller for the Global Wind Service, a leading supplier of turbine technicians and services to wind farm projects around the world. This position should attract individual who is motivated by working and winning with the team seeing challenges as an opportunity for personal development.
Acting as a business finance contact for Project Managers and Group CFO you will manage revenue and related expense reporting for several wind turbine projects across the Group, thereby ensure control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of financial and operational KPIs, including comparative analysis and commentary.
Main responsibilities:
- Support Project Managers in pursuit of projects’ financial targets through in-depth analysis and information sharing.
- Provide financial monitoring of active projects.
- Coordinate the preparation of projects’ reporting across the Group.
- Communicate, discuss and challenge financial impacts with Project Managers.
- Anticipate changes and seek better practices for business finance processes, standards and systems.
- Contribute to the company as a whole to be successful in its strategic aims.
Wymagania
Key requirements:
- Education: at least a bachelor’s degree in either finance, economics or related discipline.
- Excellent proficiency in written & spoken English.
- Ability to travel abroad up to 30% of working time.
- Min. 5 years of experience working in finance department, preferably within a project company with focus on optimization and development.
- Ability to interpret data, draw conclusions and provide focused guidance.
- Ability to read and understand business contracts.
- Willingness to act pro-actively by identifying opportunities and anticipate changes.
- Strong systems experience and knowledge of IT tools, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of MS Dynamics Navision will be a strong asset.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills.
