On behalf of our client, a leading asset management and securities services company we are looking for a Compliance Manager.
As a Compliance Manageryou will be responsible for take on prime responsibility for assessing all current/ emerging risks concerning the local business and play a key role in ensuring timely execution of the compliance monitoring programme.
Your role will involve identify and manage the regulatory requirements and Schedule, conduct and oversee as appropriate monitoring on specified areas of the business. You will provide regulatory advice and guidance to business areas in respect of issues arising and prepare Monitoring Plan on an annual basis for relevant business lines. Interpretation and provision of guidance to senior management and operational areas in relation to regulatory change is a key duty as well.
A successful candidate should have at least 5 years experience, preferably gained within financial services or the funds industry, should speak English fluently and possess a degree in a finance or legal. The candidate should communicate effectively and have previous experience in work planning and allocation. Self – motivation and the ability to work independently and as a part of a team is also required.
